Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd 1975) is an American actress. She has received numerous awards such as an Screen Actors Guild Award Award and a Golden Globe. There have also been five Emmy Award nominations as well as the BAFTA nomination, and five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore family of actors, and is the grandchild of John Barrymore. Barrymore was an actor in her youth and earned fame with her role as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She wrote Little Girl Lost, her autobiography that chronicles her childhood of addiction to alcohol and drugs. Later, she was in a string of successful films during the 1990s including Poison Ivy Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
